5. this is a great list- i have just spent the last hour checking it out- alot of bands i am familiar with and dig already but many of them i just listened to for the first time today, or a name was finally put with a sound i have been meaning to research. thanks mike! you are a critic in the best sense of the word-

7. I’m enjoying the St. Vincent tracks. If you sign up to her email list she sends out the most eclectic artsy-fartsy posters for her various concerts and events. They’re fun!

8. Animal Collective shows up on pretty much every “best of indie…” list I’ve seen. Maybe this is a hint that I should check them out.

   I made a list of “Soon To Be Iconic” album covers on my site that so far features all indie artists. I couldn’t find a list like that anywhere else so I had to create one. You might find it interesting!
