“This is the first song I wrote after a long period of cognitive impairment,” hbiba explains. “I couldn’t hear music or songs anymore, it was an eerie feeling after spending most of my life making music.”
Solemn observations — “I’m losing my mind,” with a basement apartment setting — arrive with impactful appeal, asking “when can we go to bed?” as the serene guitars intertwine seamlessly.
