An immersive track out today from D.C.-based band Color Palette, “Anywhere at All” struts a gripping shoegaze-inspired sound — complete with fuzzy guitar warmness, lush synth illumination, and a hazy vocal entrancement. The five-piece caught our ears with the more post-punk focused track “Grateful” a couple months back, and now present a stirring textured rock invigoration with “Anywhere at All.” These tracks precede the release of a full-length album, out this fall.
“I’m gonna drive all night,” vocals resonate aptly following the textured rock introduction, emitting a late-night intrigue as colorful synths infuse within the sturdy guitar work. The “nowhere else I’d rather be,” concluding declaration captivates, then giving way to the beautiful assortment of gauzy guitars and colorful synths. “Anywhere at All” is another enticing, atmospheric rock success from Color Palette, whose upcoming album we’re certainly anticipating following these couple of standout singles.
