Books Of Moods – “Dreams”

/

A warming sense of adoration is conveyed across “Dreams,” a melodic delight of a single from Parisian project Books Of Moods. Loving lyrical expressions emit the essence of blissful love, wherein time feels still and one hopes for the moment to last forever. “You were in my dreams, my chest against your chin,” dreamily enticing vocals let out during the chorus, bolstered by playfully reflective backing vocals that vibe enjoyably with the lush acoustics, serene electric guitar glistening, and steady rhythmic ruminations.

The initial lyrics are set comfortably within those acoustic pulses and sporadic electric glistening, amidst portrayals of a morning-after embrace. “Wake up at 9, open your eyes. You’re in my arms,” the vocals radiate, capturing a yearning to stay in bed all day with a loved one — basking in the place that “feels so warm and cosy.” Spacey synth touches add invitingly in the final minute. Books Of Moods’ “Dreams” enamors in its timeless-feeling depictions of true love — where one is most comfortable with their beloved beside them.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
