A lushly absorbing success from Brooklyn-based act Pon Far, “Not Yet” traverses from saxophone-laden mystique and serene introspection into a fantastic central hook. “You do this thing to me, we move in kind,” a smitten, dreamy entrancement begins. Balmy guitars and smooth saxophone bolster the alluring soundscape. “I’m deeper under your spell,” the vocals continue with an ethereal charm, driving into the gorgeous, glistening title-touting hook. We’re certainly anticipating Pon Far’s upcoming debut full-length album.
