Dutch artist Mins compels with a memorably shimmering pop appeal on “HWYGO.” The project represents the music of Minne Bussemaker, who describes the release as “a song about acceptance and goodbyes, letting thing be how they are, and moving on.” He continues: “I have a hard time with not thinking about things too much, I spend too much time regretting and hoping and not living in the now. In this song the main topic is about love, but it’s applicable to every part of life.”
Serene acoustic flutters and heartfelt vocal lushness arrive into a hooky invigoration upon the “this ain’t my body no more,” outpouring.
