Sarantos – “Will You Marry Me?”

Chicago-based Sarantos continues to show a penchant for heartfelt, affecting songwriting on “Will You Marry Me?” — cohesively melding folk, pop, and rock approachability within lyrics that celebrate love and commitment. The track continues a strong start to the year for Sarantos, whose singles “God Doesn’t Make Mistakes” and “You Have You” have already pulled us in the past few months with their melodically alluring productions.

“I’m gonna ask you, maybe tonight,” Sarantos’ harmonious vocals admit during warming acoustics and twangy guitars; the lyrical depictions of popping the big question prove enjoyably relatable in their self-questioning of whether it’s the right moment — and ultimately coming to a confident conclusion (yes!), and that it may even be tonight. A string-laden radiance follows during the central, replay-inducing chorus: “You’re the melody that echoes through my dreams,” the vocals ring out, asking “will you stay with me?” as the production concludes with a wind-chiming breeziness. “Will You Marry Me?” is another affectionate earworm from Sarantos.

For the track’s release, Sarantos is supporting the National Healthy Marriage Resource Center (NHMRC). They provide quality, balanced, and timely resources on marriage and relationship education, helping couples build strong and healthy partnerships.
