Matthew Hayes Jacobs – “Born into the Mass Mind”

/

A brisk, from-the-heart folk and rock cohesion stirs on “Born into the Mass Mind,” a new track from Matthew Hayes Jacobs that artfully explores conformity and modern tumult. “What anxiety rush to be human beings,” Hayes sings, referencing a lack of compassion and a drive for “acquiring more,” amongst corporations and greedy entities. Sturdy acoustics mingle seamlessly alongside. “We’re running out of time / Our time here is precious,” he further addresses, arriving into the title-touting ardency. Thereafter, buzzing guitar tones inject more of a rock-friendly charisma, concluding this memorable track with satiating impact.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
