Richard Lynch – “Jesus and Bocephus”

A southern-rock and country appeal stirs on “Jesus and Bocephus,” a new track from Ohio-based artist Richard Lynch, written as a tribute to his late friend and bandmate, Tim Bennington. “He worked with his hands, he believed in the The Man, his mom and daddy taught him right,” some of the descriptions include, set within a debonair vocal drive and a “that’s how he lived his life,” satiating culmination amidst frolicking piano. The track resonates as a heartfelt ode, giving listeners a picture of one who values their family, music, and faith within a familiarly rollicking country/rock flair.

“Tim was more than just a band member; he was a brother and a cornerstone of our musical journey together,” Lynch says. “This song is a testament to his spirit and our memories.” The track also releases alongside a music video, above, that captures some of the friends’ collaborations and moments together. It also comes via an excellent full-length album from Lynch entitled Some Days Are Better Than Others, streaming in full below:
