Saint Senara – “There’s A Storm Coming”

/

“There’s A Storm Coming” is a gripping rock declaration from Saint Senara, a singer/songwriter duo based in Cheltenham, England. Following their acclaimed Under My Skin EP, Saint Senara utilize ghostly vocal harmonies and a simmering rock-forward build on this magnetic track, which they worked on with rising producer Lex Raymond.

A meditative rock soundscape takes hold immediately, led by wordless vocal ruminations and steady guitar glistening. “What use is a road when you’ve no place to go?” the vocals question, easing in subtle rhythmic momentum as further introspection enamors. “There’s a storm coming, I feel it deep inside,” they declare thereafter as buzzing guitar distortion conjures a foreboding grip; the climactic swell into the title-touting refrain plays with an enthralling pull. The vocal layers feature both excited “storm coming,” call-outs and a suave undercurrent, set amidst ardent guitars and pulsing percussion with memorable impact.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.

We discovered this release via MusoSoup, as part of the artist’s promotional campaign.
