Marc McLaughlin – “All I Can Say”

/

Canadian singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Marc McLaughlin impresses with “All I Can Say,” a moodily melodic single out today that explores “themes of vulnerability and self-assurance.” Mellow keys complement McLaughlin’s suave vocal presence, ascending alongside jangling guitars and reflective keys past the mid-point; the sound reminds fondly of Dent May in this enjoyably hooky rise. “Holding out for the others to share,” the vocals let out thereafter. “Honestly, it gets harder now that they’ve gone away.” The standout track comes via McLaughlin’s forthcoming EP, All I Can Say.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
