Parademaker – “Follow My Voice”

/

Houston-based band Parademaker unveil a twangy delight in “Follow My Voice,” moving from quaint country-friendly balladry into a sort of anthemic catharsis at the mid-point. “Pretty sure you got a dark side, pretty sure I got one too,” the vocals admit there, melding with pedal steel guitar and prancing Wurlitzer for a fully memorable melodic drive. “If you would let me be your moon,” vocal layers call out subsequently, capturing a plea for love and devotion that stirs. A heart-on-sleeve lyrical disposition pairs with twangy guitars and beautiful organs for a fully enjoyable production from Parademaker.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
