ultrasaturated – “Luna”

/

“Luna” is another beautifully jangly charmer from ultrasaturated, a band that first caught our ears last year with the single “Swimming Thru.” Hypnotic vocals marvel at “every time I see the sun,” and its inducing cosmic thoughts, arriving into jangling guitars as the vocals continue to marvel the mysteries of the universe. Breezy guitars and ethereal vocals compel consistently throughout, who succeeded with last year’s Universal Hologram EP and do so again here with the new track “Luna.”

The band elaborate on the release’s themes, below:

“Lyrically, the song delves into themes of cosmic wonder and introspection, urging listeners to “look up at the sky” and ponder the mysteries of the universe. The verses explore the tension between time and eternity, as well as the inner struggles of the mind—”haunted by all of the things I never said”—yet finding solace in the rise of the moon, which gifts us with the cyclical opportunity for renewal and letting go of fears. The evocative lyrics and introspective tone make this track not just a summer anthem, but also a reflective journey through the cosmos of the human psyche.”

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
