frans asthma – “light rail” + “one way route”

/

frans asthma consumes across two new tracks in “light rail” and “one way route,” unveiling a heartfelt lyrical disposition amidst nocturnal guitar-forward haunts.

“light rail” asks “can I stay here in your arms?” with affecting qualities as trickling guitars linger beautifully. The vulnerable lyricism — “did I ruin things? you’re the only thing I know,” — and gently unfolding guitars combine for an emotive enthrallment. Multiple vocal layers combine with sporadic pulses for a climactic, satiating close. “one way route” continues the entrancement, yearning for mutual adoration as a more conversational vocal pace stirs — with shades of King Krule in the guitar tones. These are both atmospheric, emotionally moving successes from frans asthma.

These and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
