Sunset Salore – “Mystery and Magic”

/

Melbourne-based artist Sunset Salore crafts a magnetic pop sound on new single “Mystery and Magic,” marking the second single from forthcoming EP, Love Kills the Monsters, out on October 4th. “Give me mystery and magic,” the radiant vocals let out amidst mellow keys, jumpy bass, and pulsing guitar work, presenting a replay-inducing central hook that lingers. A dreamier refrain concludes the production, maintaining the melodic intrigue.

“Mystery and Magic” enamors in its balancing of lusher, yearning verses and an escalating fervency. “I’m always wanting you to stay,” the vocals admit prior to the guitar-touched bridge, culminating in the memorable title-touting chorus. The artist’s debut single “Call It” drew ample acclaim upon its July release, and “Mystery and Magic” continues what should be a quick ascent for Sunset Salore.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
