Shah Brielle – “Issues”

/

Las Vegas-based artist Shah Brielle crafts a soulful R&B entrancement on new single “Issues,” an exploration of emotional conflict within relationships. “I just try to see past your scars,” she sings amidst lush guitars as the track escalates, capturing an enduring love through tumult. The track releases ahead of Brielle’s debut album i65 South, described as “about navigating the complexities of relationships and self-discovery.”

A ravishing array of strings leads into tender guitar twangs, melding symphonic pop and soulful nostalgia with seamless immersion. Dreamy, soaring vocals enter gracefully as the “running, running,” suaveness takes hold — reminding fondly of Janelle MonĂ¡e in that compelling sequence. “Issues” is a gripping production that showcases the artist’s alluring vocal delivery and introspective lyrical pursuits. “I aim to bring a raw, real perspective to R&B that blends old-school soul with modern storytelling,” Brielle says, certainly succeeding so with “Issues.”

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Emerging Funk, Souk, R&B. Stream the playlist below:
