SABRINA – “Losing Sleep”

/

“Losing Sleep” is a compelling new single from SABRINA, an artist based in Brighton, UK. Described as “a love song written about how a relationship is a two-way thing,” the production showcases precisely why SABRINA continues to ascend, playing sold-out shows and drawing praise from BBC and other notable outlets. “Losing Sleep” impresses with its sincere emotive core and electronic-forward pop atmospherics.

“Have you got time for my love?” haunting vocals ask amidst nocturnal synths, accompanied gradually by percussive momentum. Vocal admissions to “losing sleep,” send chills as twangy guitars adorn alongside buzzy synths. A seamless shift back into the ghostly questioning plays thereafter, as the vocals declare “I’ve got space for yours,” in asking if one’s thoughts can co-exist with another. The “losing sleep,” chorus invigorates in its admissions to search for something more, fully impactful in its emotive reverberations and atmospheric synth-friendly pop production.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Pop’ Spotify playlist.

We discovered this release via MusoSoup, as part of the artist’s promotional campaign.
