A stylish new track from Brooklyn-based duo RHNO, “Epoch” struts a nocturnal mystique befitting of its cinematic inspiration. The song was written “while watching the movie Blade Runner,” per the project. “The idea was to make an experimental rock song that I thought captured the aesthetic of the film.” Marking the first single from their upcoming album, “Epoch”‘ consumes in its mellow vocal immersion and pulsing guitar tone, melding with hypnotic rhythmic effects — and resembling a more understated Unknown Mortal Orchestra. “Epoch” is a delightfully intriguing success.
