Tripnaha – “All Day Long”

/

Described as “a song about grief,” “All Day Long” is a compelling track from Swedish duo Tripnaha, presently based in Berlin. They describe the effort as capturing “the feeling of not being able to cope with the day, and wondering how the world can keep spinning.” Both of the project’s members have lost a sibling in their lives, and they dedicate this powerful track to them.

A murky alt-pop intrigue develops into serene water trickling effects and colorful keys. Serene, questioning vocals arrive thereafter, pairing with elegant keys into the blissful title-touting hook. A spacey, magnetic electro-pop serenity takes hold there, satiating in its development from more understated twinkling into this replay-inducing rise, which reprises cohesively past the three-minute turn. “All Day Long” is a stirring success from Tripnaha.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
