Think Denim, dad – “Easy”

/

“Easy” is a breezy pop/rock charmer from Think Denim, dad, the project of Belgian artist Levi Parent. Coming via the just-released Intracraneal Crosstalk EP, the single is described as “a rebellious anthem” against rampant negativity in the world, and its tendency to bring people into a downward spiral. “It’s a joyful escape, a reminder to let go of the heavy burdens, even if just for a moment,” Parent says. “It invites you to forget the chaos and be unashamedly, unapologetically happy.”

“I never thought it could be easy,” the vocals conclude, meshing with a warming bass line for a poignant reflection on how to embrace positivity — and how it may be easier than initially assumed. Parent’s soothing, melodic vocals carry throughout amidst the hazy production, enamoring in its joyful lyrical aspirations and wordless vocal harmonizing approaching mid-point. “Easy” is a resonating success.
