“In search of inspiration, I turned to the cultural figures of the past who reflected on the search for self and freedom and wrote about Crimea and Ukraine. Historical events are extremely recursive, but there is a unique chance to break this circle of repetition right now. Therefore, the theme of dying and rebirth, merging and dissolving in nature, resonates with me. The death of matter symbolizes the victory over ignorance and incomprehension.”
