Pam Ross – “Doublewide”

/

“Doublewide” is an enjoyable new single from Pam Ross, blending bluesy rock and country stylishness with new-love lyrical expressions. The track comes via the forthcoming album Outside the Box, and is described as “about being swept up in the over zealous emotions of a new found love.” The compelling release is also accompanied by a music video, streaming above.

“We’re gonna burn this doublewide down,” Ross sings amidst bluesy guitar licks, moving seamlessly into the verses with a sense of cohesive finality. “February starts feeling like June,” she continues, capturing smitten feelings with the “fireworks in the sky,” comparison to adoration. The track dazzles in its dynamics between starry-eyed, romantic qualities in the verses into a charismatic, blues-touched entry in the chorus — furthered by an invigorating guitar solo past the two-minute turn. “Doublewide” is a stirring piece of songwriting from Pam Ross.

We discovered this release via MusoSoup, as part of the artist’s promotional campaign.
