Inviolet Row – “Alpha Male”

/

Channeling a mysterious rock engrossment, “Alpha Male” is a newly released track from Inviolet Row. Fronted by Lee Scrivner, whose debonair tonal range immerses, Inviolet Row compel with poignant lyrical themes alongside a stylish rock sound — resembling parts Psychedelic Furs, Bowie, and Suede.

Formed in the early 2000s in Las Vegas, Inviolet Row has seen a variety of members — including Ronnie Vanucci (The Killers) and Abe Millett (Third Eye Blind) — through the years, and continues to unleash a variety of impressive songwriting, led by Scrivner and Kevin Brewer, who were childhood friends.

Per the project: “Events that inspired the song are the rise of AI companions, sex bots, and all forms of technologized romance. The song is about people becoming romantically attached with an artificial image – whether it’s a celebrity or porn or an AI companion or a sex bot – instead of a real person.”

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
