A serenely atmospheric stunner from Swedish act Welsh armor, “Wiser” moves seamlessly with delicately impactful vocals and heavenly synth pad illumination. The vocals emit an ethereal engrossment, barely above a whisper, as panting percussive consistency and ravishing nocturnal synths assemble for a riveting soundscape. Certainly fit for nighttime drives and deep introspection, “Wiser” is a clinic in atmospheric songwriting and production from Welsh armour, which is certainly now a project we’ll be keeping an ear out for.
