Philly-based band Perlin Noise strut a bright, synth-infused charm on their new single “Always A Light.” The project’s first track recorded with their current lineup, “Always A Light” drives from steady guitar-based momentum into doses of synth-y effervescence. “Take a deep breath, it’ll be alright,” the ensuing vocal harmonies reassure, impressing in its dynamic range, from synth flourishes to the soaring guitars that take hold thereafter; a lovable ’80s nostalgia exudes. “Always A Light” is a delight from Perlin Noise.
