Nolo Grace – “Eyes of the Dragon”

/

A buzzing electro-pop soaring and artful thematic displays of self-discovery consume on “Eyes of the Dragon,” a new track from Los Angeles-based artist Nolo Grace. The Korean-American artist/producer shows a climatic structural invigoration, swelling from first-person introspections and burgeoning pop appeal into a more upfront “I can see it all, and my essence is in the air you breathe,” confidence. The production enamors in its range from bursting pop charisma and dreamy intrigue.

“I’m in a place of a higher consciousness, reality bring me back again,” the vocals exude with hypnotic appeal. “I’m a fire burning breathing slowly,” they continue, while commiserating worldly limitations and aspiring for a “space beyond my mind.” A serene dream-pop captivation takes hold on the “through the looking glass,” bridge, culminating in gorgeous string arrangements that conclude the track with a majestic yet ethereal charm. “Eyes of the Dragon” is a surefire standout from Nolo Grace, who elaborates further on the track:

“Eyes of the Dragon is inspired by the theme of transformation and the multiplicity of self. I believe that we are interdimensional and infinite beings – we have multiple versions of self that we can tap into, including our higher self, shadow self, our inner child, etc. I wrote this song about the fact that we all have the ability to tap into our higher self and have a more expansive view of ourselves and the world.”

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.

We discovered this release via MusoSoup, as part of the artist’s promotional campaign.
