Jointheinternet – “Meet Me At The Armageddon”

Jointheinternet beckons to “Meet Me At The Armageddon” with this vibrant new single, representing the second single from their upcoming album, The Holy Bible Part 2. The Santa Barbara, CA-based project first caught our ears with the track “Nothing More to Lose” in April, and “Meet Me At The Armageddon” moves with brisker infectiousness — reminding enjoyably of Stars in Coma.

“I save me, I save you,” a particularly catching sequence begins, as playful synths and trickling guitars meld into a wordless vocal reflection — fondly reminiscent of Of Montreal. The peppy, charismatic direction blends pop and rock sentiments with cohesion, resulting in another success from this promising act.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
