“lost cowboy” is a hooky rock success from bs, the first release in over two years from the project formerly known as brother sports. “lost cowboy” unveils a punchy guitar-forward enjoyment with jumpy vocal entrancement, conjuring a sound fondly reminiscent of Wolf Parade. “And I wish,” the vocals begin with a peppy yearning for a second chance, venturing seamlessly into jangling guitars and melodic momentum. The infectious persist from there, representing a welcome return for this talented project.
“The song is about putting your trust in someone and enjoying the ride, even if it doesn’t always feel like it’s panning out, and the complexities of those situations,” the band explains.
