“Marigolds” is a stirring new single from Tiny Dolphin, the Austin-based project of Alex Fisher. First catching our ears in 2019 with debut album Calm For Color, the project continues to impress with its melodic sound. “Your eyes are marigold,” Fisher’s lush vocals let out, ascending into a soaring escalation with illuminated guitar twangs and pit-pattering percussion. Compelling in both its understated guitar-laden trickling and more expansive invigoration, “Marigolds” is another success from Tiny Dolphin.
