Fleeting Colours – “Sling”

/

The sophomore single from Montreal-based group Fleeting Colours, “Sling” is a beautiful display of their dream-pop and shoegaze intertwining aesthetic. Quaint, glistening guitars ascend seamlessly into a bursting central chorus, as the vocals maintain a caressing tone with enchanting qualities. Tactful uses of delay and reverb conjure further momentum, while the vocals exude an ethereal charm; Annika Devlin (of Frown Line) adds vocals to the layered mix, in addition. “Sling” is a fantastic showcase in dreamy immersion from Fleeting Colours.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
