San Francisco-based artist Rykarda Parasol projects an ascending psych-rock marvel with new single “Above It All,” which resembles the sensation of soaring amongst the clouds. Crisp guitar tones and subtle synth buzzing complement a spacious vocal lead, lyrically tackling a toxic relationship and a cathartic breakthrough to move onward. The heady, hypnotic guitar tones remind fondly of Spiritualized, while the vocal presence emits a glowing harmony reminiscent of Wolf Alice, concocting a lovely meshing of past and present rock atmospherics.
