Mesmerizing dual-vocal hypnotics combine with dazed guitar tones for a meditative, chilling rock soundscape. An uptick in distortion and general intensity intrigues as the two-minute turn approaches. Ghostly, wordless backing vocals add beautifully, as steady nonchalance traverses into the heady guitar layers; the sound here is fondly reminiscent of Radiohead in its meshing of subdued textures and haunting vocals. Needless to say, “The 60th Visit” is a decisive success from Glaascats.
