A hypnotic electronic delight from NYC-based artist Roman Angelos and producer Scott Solter, “Swimming Through The Aisles” (Teeming Mix) captures an aquatic-sounding serenity in its range of twinkling keys, mellow guitar twangs, and steady rhythmic pulses. The track is one of many highlights throughout the new album Supermarkets, Underwater, which is a re-imagining of his 2022 sophomore album Music For Underwater Supermarkets. A more chilled-out, structurally tactful envelopment stars on this remix and others throughout the album.
Reflections of guitars and marimba-like keys coincide with stellar engrossment, especially as a chilly, spacey synth lead buzzes inward shortly thereafter. Moody guitar twangs past the first minute add further depth, immersing with a synth/guitar interplay that intoxicates throughout the track. Supermarkets, Underwater is an atmospheric stunner throughout.
