A bluesy rock immediacy rings true on the new single “Let’s Go! (We Got The Goods),” a collaboration from Iowa-based artist Dan Trilk (Ol’ Big Bear) and California-based artist Cinder Ernst (Cinder Shine). Writing and recording together since the pandemic, their “Let’s Go! (We Got The Goods)” represents their first official release as a duo.
Wordless vocal enthusiasm and a stomping instrumental assortment leads into the seductive opening vocals: “how do you want it?” The confident guitar tones and reflective organs build with sweltering qualities. “I can make it real,” the vocals continue into the title-touting charisma, bolstered further by a brassy punch. Shades of The Black Keys are evident in the production, and in that sense the track makes for a radio-ready sound in its bridging of bluesy rock familiarity with modern polish. “Let’s Go! (We Got The Goods)” is a fun romp from Ol’ Big Bear & Cinder Shine.
