Rushkeys, the alias for Lithuanian artist Domas Ruškys, describes the track as “about the magic of dreams and how they transport you to a place that you need to go in order to escape.”
From the get-go, “High Tide” intrigues with its panting rhythmic effect, colorful synth trickling, and patient vocal unfolding. Glistening guitar effects weave in subtly prior to the one-minute turn, as wordless vocals effects emit meditative qualities. These elements meld with precision and beauty, particulaly upon the “high tide in your head,” invigoration toward the conclusion. “High Tide” is a riveting success from Rushkeys, featured last month with “Kira.”
