“Miles Away” is a memorable new single from French artist Harmo Draüs. Initial lyrical reminiscing and patient, dreamy textural backing drive to the “miles away,” hook, which resonates in its eerier and yearning sentiments — “are we gonna meet up?” A nocturnal, unsettling delightfulness emerges in the satiating second half. This is a dreamy, enveloping production, through and through.
Look for the artist’s new double single (“IMH”) to drop on March 17th, featuring a remix by French darkwave and EMB artist Cate Hortl. Draüs will also be releasing her first solo EP, MISFITS, on April 7th, via her own record label founded in 2019, Lilie’s Creatures.
