“Son of Sam” is the exciting debut single from Death Party, an Austin-based trio currently prepping their debut album. The track was mastered by Grammy-winning engineer Howie Weinberg, and exudes a ceaseless rock-driven ferocity.
Resembling a punk-minded early mold of Supergrass, “Son of Sam” catches quickly with lyrical reminiscing of nightmares amidst pulsing guitar-driven intensity. “I can’t take much longer,” the vocals admit during the intensified chorus, diversifying just enough from the preceding verses to wholly resonate. “Son of Sam” excites with its charisma and rock-forward energy.
