Throughout the new track “Apartments,” Brooklyn-based artist Lina K.O. crafts a dreamlike mystique within a steadily building atmospheric pull. A solemn sound meshing dream-pop and psych-folk captivates throughout, and from the get-go as Lina’s chilling vocals layer gorgeously alongside the humming guitar tones and sporadic glistening textures.
The emergence of percussion in the second half combines with further vocal soaring for a spine-tingling effect, enveloping wholly into the track’s scenic conclusion. Lina K.O. impresses with “Apartments,” which comes via the debut EP, Earth Apple, which released last week:
