New single “Diorama” presents a laid-back, melodic charm from Rasmus Nelausen, an artist based in Nyrup, Denmark. “Diorama” represents the title track off Nelausen’s forthcoming, second studio album. Per the artist, the track “incapsulates the doubt and placement of your own ego in the relation to another person.”

The track’s opening lyrics reflect a sense of momentum. “I felt the weight as your body came closer,” he sings amidst occasional keys and a bustling bass suaveness, aesthetically reminding of an understated Future Islands. A glistening, effervescent synth line emerges around the “told me to turn back,” vocal sequence, expanding further upon the title-referencing vocal hook. “I see you, I see you,” the vocals exude comfortably in the bridge. “Diorama” is a chilled-out pop success from Rasmus Nelausen.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of November 2022’ Spotify playlist.
