Impressing prior with the tracks “When I Said I Loved You” and “You Slept With My Best Friend,” San Diego-based duo Bang Bang Jet Away conjure further excitement with new track “Devil Take The World Away.”
The track unveils a consuming rock sound throughout, reminiscent of The Walkmen and The Libertines. Quaint guitar jangles ease into contemplative vocals. “Is it normal to fall in love with every stranger walking down the street?” the vocals ask slyly, driving enjoyably into the heart-tugging, hooky “take the world away,” refrain. “Devil Take The World Away” is another solid success from Bang Bang Jet Away.
