NYC group Lukka craft a hypnotic blend of psych-pop and rock on the soaring “Wisdom of the Sun,” the first track from their upcoming album. Described as “a yin-yang ode to finding positivity in even the darkest of situations,” “Wisdom of the Sun” rides on vibrant key-laden enthusiasm. The spirited vocals assume a deeper pitch as the first minute turn approaches, the added stabs of synth-laden effervescence playing invitingly amidst the more debonair vocal disposition.
A bursting, psych-friendly guitar sequence leads into the second minute, converging with the key-forward pop charm thereafter with seamless cohesion. “Wisdom of the Sun” is a lovely, melodic success from Lukka.
