“Path of a Fool” is a new track from Mystic Seers, the project of producer & multi-instrumentalist Derek White. He describes the release as “about finding redemption from mistakes made.”
Hazy organs, twinkling keys, and twangy guitars complement a weary vocal delivery for a timeless aesthetic. The verses’ dazed, twinkling charm engrosses especially upon the multi-layered vocals approaching the two-minute turn, which also introduces a striking psych-friendly melodic escalation. “Path of a Fall” is another consuming rocker from Mystic Seers, who impressed a couple years ago with the track “Devil Woman.”
