A soulfully psychedelic success propelled by melodic keys and ardent vocals, “Whatever You Have” is the fourth single from London-based artist Cabin, the alias of Adam McCabe.
“This is a piece that embodies how I look at and approach creating music as an individual,” McCabe says. “That we now have the ability to create something far larger than ourselves, we should strive towards that.”
Gentle keys are steadily accompanied by a warming bass and spacey twinkling. McCabe’s vocals emerge with lush entrancement, escalating past the two-minute mark into a passionate soaring. Psych-friendly vocals and a bouncy bass line adorn this section, as McCabe’s “first day,” vocal power stands out. Fuzzy guitar additions enamor into another emotive outpouring, passing the four-minute turn. McCabe’s vocals impress throughout, cohesively building from the initial lushness to culminating passion. “Whatever You Have” is a stirring success from Cabin.
