Following up last month’s excellent track “This Century,” Michael Sanders again impresses with the release of “Miss Lady.” From the upcoming full-length, While I’m Still Young, “Miss Lady” further showcases Sanders’ soaring psych-forward songwriting and production. A tranquil bass hop and spacey synth textures complement ardent vocals to start, fondly reminiscent of Tame Impala. “At the edge of reality, yeah it’s crazy,” Sanders remarks through the continued escalation. “So meet me at the cemetery,” Sanders sings amidst flourishing synths, the yearning evolving into prominent guitar pulses. “Miss Lady” dazzles with its deeply melodic psych-friendly aesthetic.
