“Don’t Worry” is a stellar piece of songwriting from NYC artist ferro dormer, expanding from quaint guitar-led intimacy into ample atmosphere and soaring hookiness. “There’ll be no going back again,” the chorus resonates, the hazy synths complementing beguiling vocals with ample melodic appeal. The understated guitar trickles and creeping vocals in the verses play climactically to this point. The two-minute mark sees a more synth-forward interpretation of these verses, guiding even more enjoyably into the ensuing chorus. “Don’t Worry” plays convincingly with its strong melodic grip and intriguing tonal shifts.

“I wrote this song about a painful point in time after the end of a long and eventful trans-atlantic romantic relationship. In a time of strong disconnection from my feelings, this song was like a moment of sunshine in a rainy day, and I could finally feel all that I’ve been going through at the time. Although it’s a moody song with a very direct type of lyricism, it’s melodic line is catchy and undeniable and even though it is very much within the indie realm, it’s very inspired by the great Claudio Monteverdi!”
