Touting a soulful pull with the entrancing vocals and sensuous lyrics, “Show Me Love” is the solo debut from Toronto/Montreal-based Yzabo. Twangy guitars and sweltering backing organs concoct ’70s soul nostalgia to start, as yearning vocals emerge. Lyrically, the track explores the escalating feelings of intimacy, the smooth rhythm section and guitar adornments playing seductively throughout. “I want to feel your hands all on me,” Yzabo sings amidst a chilly organ backing. “I can feel that the temperature is rising.” “Show Me Love” flows with intimacy and yearning throughout its scorching soul-driven aesthetic.
“Show Me Love,” written and performed by Yzabo, is co-produced by David Plowman and Nathan Burley.
The Filipino-Canadian singer/songwriter is planning several releases for 2022, including collaborations with Montreal-based producers Frame and Kola, Toronto-based producers Young Clancy and Bridge and Law, and others.
