A new track from South Florida-based Bianca Jazmine, “Let in to Let Go” builds from suave, breezy guitars into a cathartic chorus — “it’s time to let go, darling … let in to let in to let go.” A touch of keys in the subsequent verses enamors, as does the lush wordless bridge, led by gentle bird chirps and swaying acoustics. The chorus’ final go-round plays with a spirited melodic oomph, finalizing a catchy and emotively genuine track. The track navigates cohesively from understated, swaying restraint into several showings of cathartic emotional release.
Jazmine explains more about the track, below:
“This song marks a turning point for me in my life. The title came to me while meditating, realizing that I can no longer push away what I feel, and constantly run away from my intuition.
I needed to let in what I truly felt, the emotions I’ve tucked away, and let in the things I needed in order to process, heal, and let go of what was holding me back. Whether it was thought patterns, ideas, things, people, or places, I began rapidly shedding my outer layer. I am still, and always will be, growing, learning, and changing.
I am so grateful I get to shed some light on this death & rebirth stage of my life. I know so many of you are going through it too. Here’s to letting in everything we need to let go and watch our dreams unfold!”
