jefff – “WINDOWS”

/

“WINDOWS” is a recent single from jefff, a Florida-based artist. Aesthetically reminiscent of Talking Heads’ David Byrne, jefff navigates through varied vocal, an expressive rhythm section, and playful rhythm guitars. The amped-up vocal effect around 02:07 adds a climactic feeling amidst the excitable rhythm section and jam-friendly guitars. “What good is 50 years when all we have is now?” he asks before returning to the verses. “Windows just keep getting smaller, what are we doing here?” “WINDOWS” is a creative, bustling track that draws replays.

The track is the second single off My Last CD, jefff’s debut album for Conch Town Music. His first single, released last summer, was “R U Hip 2 the Revolution.”

“WINDOWS” and other memorable tracks from October can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of October 2020’ Spotify playlist.
