InAbell – “It Sends Me Home”

/

Dreamy vocals and captivating strings lead the majestic “It Sends Me Home,” the latest from Israeli artist InAbell. The artist first caught my ear with the striking track “Fresh Honey” in 2018, and continues to expand a sound emphasizing stellar pop hooks and exotic soundscapes. The strings build with subtle invigoration, with muted guitars and percussion assembling a quaint feel to start. As more intensified rhythms emerge approaching the two-minute mark, the track’s pull becomes fully apparent. The “from above,” bridge around 02:20 is particularly catching, with effervescent vocals and strings converging with pure melodic beauty. “It Sends Me Home” is another delight from InAbell.

InAbell writes the following regarding the track:

“Home” is a word with warmth. “Home” is a word that contains bursting emotion, as much as a word can capture. To me, home is the tree in my backyard and the tune I cannot put my finger on but is constantly running through my mind.

This was co-composed with a person I’ve never met that reached me on Facebook. Only later I found out that by coincidence, that we grew up very close to each other.

“It Sends Me Home” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of January 2021’ Spotify playlist.
