Impressing this past September with the track “Goodbye,” Brooklyn-based band Attics show well with another single, “Granite State.” Hazy keys and lush acoustics adorn the consuming hook, as the vocals assume a psych-friendly elongation. The contrast between restrained verses and a more expressive chorus plays well early on; the verses add playful guitar additions subsequently, providing variety there and into the captivating chorus. “Granite State” provides further reason to follow Attics.
